The return of our Annual Vintage Day showcasing the best of highland traditions, heritage and culture.

Come and see Derro Gilmour from Highland Forge, plying his blacksmiths trade, with his portable forge!!

The ladies from Comhlan Luadh Bhàideanach will be joining us and teaching us all about the traditional Gaelic waulking songs and how to waulk the tweed.

Plus the tractors! Basket makers, Tapestry weavers. Refreshments £1.50

Caithness has a rich agricultural history and their exhibition highlights the many aspects of Caithness agriculture, collated from their deep and diverse collection of records. Entry is free, and no booking is required between the hours of 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Time Travel Tour of Inverness

Organised by National Trust of Scotland. Cost: £10, children under 12 free (Bookings via Eventbrite)

Starting and finishing at Abertarff House on Church Street, Inverness, this 90-minute guided tour will explore the Jacobites, riots, monsters and magic. A thriving town since the Pictish era, Inverness has a lot of history.

General AdviceTours are limited to 10 members maximum. Please be aware that the route of the tour takes includes stairs, steep inclines and proximity to busy roads.

Tours will also be run in all weather conditions so please dress appropriately with comfortable shoes and warm jackets.
